The Northwest Vermont Solid Waste Management District

NWSWD is a legislatively chartered Municipal Corporation charged with planning, implementing, and regulating waste management strategies for member communities.

The district has developed and manages the Solid Waste Implementation Plan (SWIP) for our 16 Member Communities. This plan conforms to the State SWIP. To review the NWSWD's SWIP click here.
